Tracey O’Neill is Principal Consultant and Founder at The Data Consultant. Tracey is a unique blend of Recruitment professional and Data Analytics expert, with over 20 years’ experience in the Staffing and Recruitment sector in Ireland and the UK. 

She spent over 14 years as a Recruiter and in 2014 went back to her academic roots in Information Management when she became Data Quality Manager for a multinational recruitment company based in Dublin. Her role initially involved an 8-month secondment to build a global services centre of excellence for the data function, in Kerala, India. Over the next 6 years, Tracey partnered with senior stakeholders globally as Head of Analytics and Insights and was the Data and Insights lead for the Research and Innovation function within the company.  

Tracey completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics in 2021 and has a particular interest in the impact of Analytics and Artificial Intelligence on the future of work. She now uses her Business Data Analytics skills to help recruitment businesses leverage their data to improve decision-making and gain a competitive advantage. 

Tracey is also passionate about Data Quality and the 'big impact of small data’.
